ASTM A572/ A572M belongs to American Standard High Strength Low Alloy Niobium-Vanadium Structural Steel Plate.
The ASTM A572 low alloy steel sheet specification is a standard specification for high-strength low-alloy niobium-vanadium structural steels for general structural and structural applications. ASTM A572 includes five grades with specified yield strengths of Grade 42, Gr.50, Gr55, Grade60 and Gr. 65 ksi.
ASTM A572 steel plates are widely used in engineering structures, such as construction steel structures, construction machinery, mining machinery, trucks, bridges, pressure vessels, etc., especially for construction and engineering machinery components that require good weldability and toughness.
ASTM A572 carbon steel low alloy steel plates are widely used as bridge decks, support plates, mechanical installation plates, etc. for construction equipment, transmission towers, racks and other equipment.
